We were approached by the awesome owner Chris Pental of Nice, an Ice Cream store based in Sheffield. This was exciting for the vp brothers as not only do we love pudding but we also love ice-cream so tasting the products was also very essential…
Chris wanted a fresh look for his small business which he was aiming to appeal to a younger audience primarily. Once we received the brief of creating a branding that represented a fresh image of the business through the creation of its logo we get striaght to it coming up with initial sketches and designs which we received feedback by Chris on every initial design. Below you can see some of the preliminary designs and get a better idea of how we reached the finalized design.
The logo was intended to be used for letterheads, business cards, menu’s, in store posters and even the sign above the front door. Chris had already come up with a pretty ‘nice’ idea for the name but he needed some direction and help in taking his ideas further, eventually to print. We worked closely with Chris throughout the design process, from pencil to pixel, finalizing on the logo you see at the top of the page.
It was great fun working with the Virtual pudding lads from the word go! I look forward to working with them again in the future, with stage 2 – a website!
- Chris Pental, Nice.
We are planning on visiting Chris in 2011 to get some photos of the shop front to add to our design portfolio and hopefully get to taste a few of his new icey based creations. It was a pleasure working on a project that was both fun and tasty.
